Creating Agents

Create an agent to give your application an AI-powered assistant that can interact with users, run simulations, and execute QA tests.

Steps

1. Navigate to your application dashboard and open the Agents section.
2. Click Create Agent.
3. Enter a name and description for the agent. The name is displayed to users in widget interactions.
4. Select a voice — Male or Female. This is used for text-to-speech when the agent speaks to users.
5. Optionally upload an avatar image to give the agent a visual identity.
6. Write custom instructions that define how the agent should behave. See Agent Instructions for guidance.
7. Assign knowledge items from your Knowledge Base. These give the agent product context to draw from. See Agent Knowledge for details.
8. Click Create.

The agent will begin processing its assigned knowledge immediately. You can monitor progress from the agent detail view.

Tip

Start with clear, specific instructions. You can always refine them after running simulations and reviewing how the agent performs.
