Adding Videos
Product walkthroughs, feature demos, and training recordings can all be added to your Knowledge Base as videos, so they live alongside your documents in one place.
Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”File uploads:
- MP4
- MOV
- AVI
- WebM
Video links:
- YouTube URLs
- Vimeo URLs
File uploads can be up to 100 MB each.
How to add videos
Section titled “How to add videos”Open the Add Knowledge dialog from the Knowledge page and switch the content type to Video.
File upload
Section titled “File upload”- Navigate to the Knowledge page.
- Click the + button next to Context to open Add Knowledge.
- Select Video as the content type.
- (Optional) Add a short description of what the video contains.
- Click Add video to pick one or more video files from your computer.
- Click Upload Video.
Video URL
Section titled “Video URL”- Navigate to the Knowledge page.
- Click the + button next to Context to open Add Knowledge.
- Select Video as the content type.
- Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL (or a direct link to a video file) into the Video URL field.
- Click Add Video.
How video knowledge works
Section titled “How video knowledge works”Videos are stored in your Knowledge Base and can be previewed from the dashboard — YouTube and Vimeo links play in an embedded player, and uploaded files play inline. This keeps your product walkthroughs and demos organized in one place next to your documents.
Filtering and managing videos
Section titled “Filtering and managing videos”Use the Videos filter on the Knowledge page to see only video items. See Managing Knowledge to preview, refresh, and remove them.
