Adding Videos
Video content is a powerful way to train your agents. Product walkthroughs, feature demos, and training recordings can all be added to your Knowledge Base and made available to agents.
Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”File uploads:
- MP4
- MOV
- WebM
- MKV
- FLV
Video links:
- YouTube URLs
- Vimeo URLs
How to add videos
Section titled “How to add videos”File upload
Section titled “File upload”- Navigate to the Knowledge page from the sidebar.
- Click Add Knowledge.
- Select the Videos tab.
- Drag and drop a video file or click to browse and select a file from your computer.
- Click Submit.
Video URL
Section titled “Video URL”- Navigate to the Knowledge page from the sidebar.
- Click Add Knowledge.
- Select the Videos tab.
- Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL.
- Click Submit.
How video knowledge works
Section titled “How video knowledge works”Videos are automatically transcribed and indexed after upload. This means agents can reference the spoken content from your videos during conversations — they don’t need to “watch” the video, they search the transcript just like they search document content.
