Managing Knowledge
As your product evolves, your Knowledge Base should evolve with it. The Knowledge page gives you tools to filter, preview, refresh, and remove knowledge items.
Filtering knowledge items
Section titled “Filtering knowledge items”The Knowledge page lets you filter your content by type:
- All Files — View all knowledge items (documents and videos).
- Documents — View only document-based knowledge items.
- Videos — View only video-based knowledge items.
Previewing knowledge
Section titled “Previewing knowledge”Click any knowledge item card to preview it inline:
- Documents are rendered in a preview panel for quick review. If a document can’t be shown inline, use Open Original to open it in a new tab.
- Videos play in the preview panel — YouTube and Vimeo links use an embedded player, and uploaded files play directly.
Items added by URL show a link icon and offer an Open Original action that takes you to the source.
Refreshing URL-imported knowledge
Section titled “Refreshing URL-imported knowledge”If a document was imported from a URL, its card offers a Refresh action that re-fetches the latest content from the source and re-processes it. This is useful when the original document changes and you want Marketrix to have the most current version.
Background Research
Section titled “Background Research”The Knowledge page includes a Background Research action that researches your Application automatically:
- It crawls your Application’s URL and follows links on the same site to gather page content.
- It produces a summary of your product and adds it, along with the researched pages, to your Knowledge Base.
While research is running, a banner indicates it’s in progress; new items appear in the grid once it finishes (marked with a Research badge). If you’ve already run it, the action becomes Re-run Research to refresh the results.
Deleting knowledge items
Section titled “Deleting knowledge items”To delete a knowledge item, open its action menu and choose Delete. You’ll be asked to confirm.
