Creating Applications

Creating an Application connects your web app or website to Marketrix, so it can learn your product and interact with it for testing, research, and live support. Every workspace needs at least one Application — if you have none, the dashboard prompts you to create your first.

  1. From the dashboard home, click New App.
  2. Enter a name for your Application (for example, “Staging Dashboard” or “Marketing Site”).
  3. Enter the URL of your web app or website.
  4. Decide whether the app needs to sign in:
    • Leave This application requires authentication credentials off for a public Website.
    • Turn it on for an authenticated App, then enter the username and password Marketrix will use to sign in.
  5. Optionally add a description.
  6. Optionally set allowed domains to restrict which domains Marketrix can navigate to during simulations and interactions. Leave it empty to allow all domains.
  7. Click Create Application.

Once your Application is created, you can:

  • Add Knowledge (documents and videos) so Marketrix understands your product — see Knowledge.
  • Run Simulations to let Marketrix explore your app autonomously — see Simulations.
  • Generate Personas that model your real user types — see Personas.
  • Deploy Widgets for live customer support — see Widgets.
