Forms Overview
Forms let you build a questionnaire in the dashboard and publish it to a shareable link. Anyone with the link can answer — no account, no login. Responses come back to the dashboard as you collect them.
Like User Interviews, Forms collect answers from real people rather than simulated Personas. The difference is shape: an interview is an ordered question set a participant works through in a guided room, while a Form is a designed page you lay out, style, and publish. If you want your Personas to answer instead, that is a User Study.
Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”Forms sits under CX Tools in the dashboard, alongside User Studies, User Interviews, and User Support. A Form belongs to an Application, so each one is scoped to the product you are asking about.
Building a form
Section titled “Building a form”The builder is a single canvas. You add sections to group related questions, add questions inside them, then set the theme and settings.

Two layout blocks carry no answer and exist to structure the page: Section header and Description.
Publishing and sharing
Section titled “Publishing and sharing”A Form moves through Draft → Published → Closed, and can be Archived when you are done with it. Only a published Form is reachable.
Publishing gives you a share link. That link is the credential — anyone holding it can answer, so treat it as you would any unlisted URL. You can narrow access further in settings:
- Password — respondents must enter a password before the questions load.
- Visibility — a private Form stops serving even while published.
- Close date and response limit — the Form stops accepting answers once either is reached.
- One response per person — a repeat submission from the same browser is rejected.
Preview opens the real respondent page against your draft, so what you check is exactly what people will see. Nothing you enter in a preview is recorded.
Reading responses
Section titled “Reading responses”Each form has four tabs:
- Overview — the form at a glance.
- Responses — every submission, with export.
- Analytics — completion and drop-off across your questions.
- Settings — access, limits, and the thank-you message.
